Recompence cabins are rustic, yet lovely. Lighting is by gas lamp, as there is no electricity. Each cabin has its own private outhouse, picnic tables, charcoal grill, and fire ring.
Pets: Our Bayview Cottage is pet-friendly, however we ask that if you would like to stay in either Point Senior or Cove Cottages, you make other arrangements for your furry friends. There are several boarding facilities nearby that would be glad to accomodate your dog.
What we provide:
- Propane stove/oven
- Beds
- Basic cooking equipment
- Charcoal grill
- Wood stove for heat
What you need to bring:
- Bedding (linens, blankets, pillows, etc.)
- A cooler for food storage
- Any specialty cooking instruments
- Charcoal for the grill
Firewood for the campfire and wood stove may be purchased at the camp store. If you wish to bring your own firewood, it must be purchased within a 50 mile radius to prevent the spread of forest-destroying insects (Maine State Law).
