COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Update

Updated May 7, 2020

Wolfe’s Neck Oceanfront Camping has welcomed happy campers from all over the world for decades, and we always strive to make your stay with us a special one. Our top priority during this unprecedented time is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our campground visitors and staff. We are diligently monitoring the situation and aligning our precautionary measures with state and federal guidelines. Our campground will open on June 1. All campground reservations in June are for Maine residents only.

Here is what this means for you:

  • We are now accepting 2020 reservations online and by phone. Please note we are in the office limited hours during the off-season.
  • We are accepting reservations for stays beginning June 1 for Maine residents only, and for later season (July-September) bookings for out-of-state campers (it will be possible to transfer reservation dates if the need arises). Any out-of-state reservation made for June will be notified to be cancelled or moved to a later date.
  • We offer a full deposit refund on all campsite cancellations made 14 days prior to arrival (30 days for cabins). A $20 service fee will be assessed for any changes/cancellations.

Now more than ever we are seeing the positive effect that being outdoors and having access to nature can have on our well-being. Despite getting a later start to our season, we hope this encourages you to see camping as a healing and restorative activity when it becomes available.

We recognize that this is a dynamic situation that evolves every day. We will continue to monitor and take guidance from state and federal professionals, and will continue to inform our campers with updates as they arise.

Thank you for taking care of your health and the health of our community. Together we will get through this, and we can look forward to a wonderful 2020 camping season.
